Chicago’s Biggest Winter Event, TBOX / Twelve Bars of Xmas featured as one of the Daily Meal’s best bar crawls around the WORLD!!
The Daily Meal showcased TBOX in their TOP 10 BAR CRAWLS article in 2011. TBOX takes place in Wrigleyville/Chicago every December where thousands of partiers dress up in their most festive gear and start the partying at 8AM!

For the first time in TBOX History, the authorities decided to close down Clark Street to auto traffic and reroute the CTA Clark 22 Bus in 2011.
As added touches for the day of crawling, Festa Partiers installed “Make Out Tents” in ten of the bars, along with Camp Games like Kiddie Pools lined with Twister Mats. They distributed over 110,000 Stickers, “took care of” 7,000 TBOX Virgins, shot an estimated 30,000 Boxes of Cereal, and again benefited Chicago Dance Marathon – who helped serve as Bar Hosts, stamping passports, handing out stickers, Taking Pictures in the Frames, and giving cereal shots.
The Royal Court Members and other crawlers of Camp TBOX filled and dressed for roles like Head Counselor, Archery Instructor, Canteen Boy, Lumberjack, Totem Pole, Raccoon, Owl, Girl Scout, Dinner Bell, Backpacker, Band Camp Girl (and Flute), Evil Forest Rangers and tons of other hilarious and creative outfits.
