Want to get in the Christmas spirit? Well Second City Network Chicago wanted to when they went to TBOX 2014. Watch as Second City Network attends TBOX 2014 to see how FESTIVE the Festa Partiers really are!!
Second City Network wanted to test the TBOX Pub Crawlers on the history of all things Christmas related… who cares about trivia when you have Bud Light at 8am?!
Originally a sequential tour of 12 bars (based, of course, on the “12 Days of Christmas” carol), TBOX is now an all-day event, going from 8am to 8pm, including more than 50 bars in the area near Wrigley Field. Since 2007, the TBOX Opening and Closing Ceremonies have taken place at the world-famous Cubby Bear across from the Wrigley Field marquee. TBOX is now produced and operated by Festa Parties Incorporated.
TBOX®is an acronym for Twelve Bars Of Xmas, an extraordinarily large pub crawl held every year on the 2nd Saturday of December in Wrigleyville, Chicago. It goes from 8am to 8pm, and in 2015 it takes place on December 12th. TBOX and Festa Parties have donated over $150,000 in the last few years alone to charities including Lakeview Pantry and Chicago Police Memorial Foundation.
